BILL PRIESTLEY
Our sommelier
is Bill Priestley, a witty and engaging wine expert
who is also a member of the AMCS Board of Directors.
After
starting as a server in some of LA's top restaurants, (Joachim and
Christine Splichal’s Max Au Triangle and David Murdok’s
private Regency Club), he became a Captain and Wine Manager, Bill
was on the team that opened Patina Restaurant in 1995, and later became
the Director of Food and Wine at Pinot Bistro in Studio City, part
of the Patina family. Bill also has been Director of Food and Wine
at
Café del Rey and Cellar Master at Veritas Imports and the Wine
Vault.
Since
2003, Bill has been a Senior Sales Manager and Key Account Manager
for Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits. As a certified sommelier,
Bill is active in exclusive wine and spirits tasting events throughout
California.
